"Wir haben in dem Haus acht Tage verbracht und hatten eine rund um tolle Zeit. Der Gastgeber ist aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und zu jederzeit erreichbar. Das Haus war geräumig gut ausgestattet, und der Pool war ein Highlight. Für die Sauberkeit würden wir mehr als fünf Sterne geben. "Chiara is an exceptional host, easy to contact and had lots of great tips on where to go. You do need a car to visit all the wonderful towns and beaches nearby. I wish we had stayed longer as we couldn’t fit everything into one week. We particularly liked Noto, Ragusa and Marina Di Ragusa for the beach. The nearest town Sciciliis a fantastic place to eat in the evening as it is only a 12 minute drive and has so many good restaurants. The pool is really a plunge pool but good enough for cooling...

"Nous avons passé 17 jours chez Michele et Angela qui sont vraiment très accueillants et facilitent toutes les démarches et tracas. Michele vous fera découvrir son huile d'olive, les figues de Barbarie toutes préparées etc. Le logement est bien situé et permet de visiter la région facilement, bien entretenu avec évidemment la piscine qui est appréciable pour se rafraîchir. "Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

"I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. "The house is better than the photos portray. It is quiet, feels almost rural, and is within an easy walk to the town square. The garden looks out over the sea across a mini vineyard and beautiful tropical plants. We spent so much time in the southern 'conservatory' where we could enjoy the view and stay cool - even though it was early September when we were there. "The property was perfect for a family of 6. The kitchen was perfect for cooking all meals. The swimming pool and bbq area fantastic. A very peaceful area and highly recommend visits to Donnalucata and our favourites Scicili, Monica and Ragusa. All a max of 20 mins away. A great host and great place to stay!"
