"So many good things about this house- great location, so cute, stocked with snacks. My two complaints are 1) the furniture. The couch and chairs are flaking leather, and it’s all over the floors. You can’t lay on the couch, the flakes get everywhere then. I found them in the bed, in my hair… I think that needs to be taken care of. 2) we found a dead mouse in a trap under the couch. Really wish that would have been checked and dealt with before we got there. All in all, I do recommend this house...

"I really love how peaceful the house and the area are. Very beautiful views of Lake Egypt. I love also how close it is to a bigger city like Marion so you can go shopping at Walmart or even go to Carbondale for shopping. I also love how it’s close to a lot of different/beautiful trails. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We really didn’t want to leave and go back to reality. Must stay. "

"Couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy your morning coffee and your evening wine! Exceptional communication, clean and comfortable .....A word of warning to anyone with physical limitations as the property does sit rather high up off the lake with a very steep incline from home to the lake and from the driveway to the entrance door. to lake and from driveway to doorway"

"We came for the Tunnel Hill 100 race and enjoyed the proximity to Vienna, IL. The property is exactly as described and pictured. Check in and out, as well as communication were excellent. Would definitely stay again."

"Amazing property that we simply didn't stay long enough to enjoy in its completeness. Billiards and Putt-Putt on entry, so attractive that we started playing before we even unpacked! I'm very artsy interior, and lots of room and outdoor fire pit, multiple decks, and an in-ground pool. The home is even on the grounds, an event venue. Probably a wonderful combination for them! Would enjoy returning, but for a longer stay will you could enjoy all with the property had to offer! Highly recommend it"

"We stayed there for a Hunting Trip. Myself and 3 other guys. Property was clean. Property was exactly as described. Plenty of parking space. BBQ grill can probably be replaced. Nearing end of life. Fridge in Kitchen could use some maintenance, works great, just leaking water from bottom gasket. All other appliances in working order, air conditioning/heater works great. No complaints. Cleaning lady even stopped by to ask if we needed anything. Will definitely stay again whenever in the...
