Pros: Furniture and fittings are of the highest quality Views of Kanchenjunga from the balcony (check with reception before booking) In house restaurant provides tasty vegetarian food Cons: There is no hotel frontage, so getting up and down from the cab is a bit of a hassle and needs to be done in a hurry 20 min uphill walk to the mall. Cabs charge whatever they want. Suggestion: The hotel has everything that one wants in Darjeeling except for the access to the mall, if a free shuttle can be arranged at regular intervals to ferry hotel guests uphill, it will be a huge improvement. Coming downhill isn't a problem. *The water pressure in the rain showers inside the washroom is one of the best I have seen in a hotel in India "

Gave some suggestions and feed back to the general manager who was very appreciative of the constructive feed back. Passion of the staff to serve customers is unparalleled and trickles down from the leadership of Debarya, who seems to talk about the resort like it's his baby. Doma in dining room, authentic Nepalese cells roti made fresh was cherry on top. Will be back. "

Had a bit of a medical emergency, and the hotel had no immediate response. They did not know how to call a doctor, but they did provide a car to take me to the hospital next-door but did not offer the car service to come back."
