"The place was beautiful. The accommodations were perfect! Two bedrooms with comfortable and tasteful beds. Lots of room to store our clothing and luggage. Beautiful garden with fresh tomatoes and peppers. Great kitchen! Great patio! The hosts were lovely and helpful! A wonderful home away from home! We highly recommend this place!"

Ideal als Stützpunkt für einen kleinen Wanderurlaub, da Winkel praktisch im Zentrum der Vulkaneifel liegt und alle Highligts, wie die Maare, die Manderscheider Burgen oder Gerolstein mit seinen "Dolomiten" nach kurzer Fahrt zu erreichen sind. "A very warm welcome from the family, also a flask of coffee on arrival which was delicious and a souvenir package to take back with you. The apartment was spotless, with a well equipped kitchen, tv, radio and really comfortable bed. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is in easy reach of many towns in the area. "In town for a family wedding. Worked out very well for us except the walking distance to old town, good restaurants and activities was not convenient. But the neighborhood is quiet at night and the apartment is well appointed. Olga was very responsive and a wonderful host."
