"Conveniently situated for our journey and also for refuelling and a supermarket. Clean, comfortable room and a good shower enabled a peaceful night's sleep. "We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

"The hotel I would describe as average. A little outdated and the hallway was decorated in a really dark wallpaper which made it very dark and dismal.. The room was ok and the bed comfortable. The grouting in the bathroom was a bit black and mouldy. The lighting in the room needs to be improved as it was also very dark. The receptionist explained everything and we didn't have any problems."

We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive.
