"This is a wonderful property, with great space and a fantastic pool area. We had a relaxing and fun time as a family, on the warm sunny days and also on the few days when it rained. The master bedroom is h-u-g-e, with an almost outdoor shower. (Very similar to one we enjoyed in Bali many years ago, and the place is filled with art, furniture, and objects that enhance that feeling.) Rest of the rooms, as described and with good views. Really a lovely venue, one that I will think of fondly. However, a few small things to be aware of: 1) The owner / manager seemed to take more of a legal approach to the relationship than of a welcoming host. The "welcome pack" seemed to consist of a long list in French of what we would be fined for, rather than the "here's a few things nearby you might be interested in" that we've experienced elsewhere. And, once we had agreed the stay through VRBO (and paid the deposit) we were presented with a separate contract, which was also a bit of a surprise. 2) There were a few small issues with the lighting around the pool, which the owner / manager did organise to send someone to deal with - but they went out the next day. 3) It was a bit difficult to find when we first got there. There isn't any obvious sign and we had to ask a helpful neighbour where it was. 4) There really are a lot of mosquitos. A lot. Finally, though not an issue for us, as we were 6, though the property can sleep 9, almost all the seating areas are for 6."

"Cute place, we had a nice big room and a big bathroom. No elevator. The reception isn’t working in the middle of the day for a few hours so if you arrive then you are out of luck. The lady that runs it is polite but reserved and a bit cold. First impression wasn’t great but the. It improved. "

"The hotel tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible when their air-conditioning was broken down. A fan was placed in our room. They also offered us free breakfast. "

"Comfortable, well equipped holiday home. Television, WIFI and air conditioning all worked very well. Only issue was no tablets or rinse aid for the dishwasher which would have been useful for the visitor coming from abroad. The hosts, Pierre and Sylvie were lovely and on hand with helpful local information. The excellent pool was cleared of any flying insects daily. Short 10 min drive to town of Apt which is a delight and has all necessary stores for acquiring provisions including supermarket, pharmacy and bakery. Would happily return another year and highly recommend to others wanting to explore this warm and picturesque area of France in the stunning Luberon hills."

"Our family of three had a wonderful week at Aurore’s place. Our nearly-three-year-old had so much fun swimming in the pool and chasing the chicken. We enjoyed meals on the terrace with a wonderful view, and felt so safe and calm in the space. It worked very well with a little one. He took the downstairs bedroom and the adults were up. The pool was always secured at night and the cottage is very suitable for children. Aurore had a ton of extra baby items for us to use which made it even easier! The house feels secluded and yet it’s just a couple minutes to get into town. It is very well situated for day trips to nearby villages, and there are even wineries and lavender fields within walking or biking distance! We had a perfect Provence vacation here, and dream of one day returning!"
