We were given a house actually meant to accomodate 5-6 people so we had plenty of room plus a small yard area with garden furniture. "Unfortunately booked to stay 2 nights. It is an apartment block with what appears to be full time residents apart from this apartment. Gaining entry was difficult and had to gain the help of a passing local to assist who also could not understand the code entry. We arrived quite late otherwise we would have complained and moved. Luckily we had our own pillows with pillow cases as there was no bedding other than a mattress cover and 2 blankets. No towels. Perhaps that's what it means in the...

"Petit séjour de 3 nuits hors saison, donc beaucoup de commerces fermés, mais sinon les alentours sont très beaux ! J'ai adoré la ville de Château d'Oléron ! Nous y retournerons ! Le camping est petit, les cottages sont simple et pratique. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine (avril à octobre), nous y allions plus pour nous reposer et visiter les alentours."
