"The stay was very nice. Service from staff was always friendly and they were willing to help with questions. The room was cleaned everyday. The restaurant within the hotel(although not part of the hotel) was very good. And the location couldn’t be better. I would definitely recommend staying at this property without any hesitation."

"Safe! Beautiful property. Walkable to the plaza/church. Many food on options of course. Keep an eye out on creeps looking for an opportunity. We ate at Silverios near the plaza, it was delicious. 😋And, they had the 2x1 drink special. I really enjoy dinner here. Make sure you indicate how you like your meat cooked. "

"La Casona de Don Lucas is a historical building, having been built in the late 1700’s. It’s beautiful, but be aware there is no elevator. The staff is very happy to assist with luggage. We were in room number 1, at the top of the stairs. It offers no view of the city, but is a very quiet room. It is spacious with two comfortable queen beds. It has a refrigerator, microwave & coffee pot. There is ample storage room and a safe. The large shower has lots of hot water. The hotel is located a few steps from the cathedral, centrally located to all historic sights & many fabulous restaurants. The staff was very helpful with directions, and arranged a fabulous walking tour of the city. Breakfast was included with the room. It’s buffet style, mostly Mexican fare. The coffee was generously served. We enjoyed our stay while we explored the beautiful city Guanajuato. "
