"This is a really beautiful hotel but i would not say that it is 5 star. The room was spacious & beautiful but the bathroom had a tub/show but no curtain or glass so every time you took a shower the floor was soaking wet. Maid service was very diligent & quick for the most part, they have a pillow menu but don't actually have the pillows when you order them & never delivered anything as an alternative. "In short: one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Worst of all is the customer service. There was only one person at reception who spoke poor English. All the rest of the staff speak only German, all information and signs are in German. When checking in, we did not receive any information about amenities, facilities, absolutely nothing. "The service was terrible. We booked a room online that said SLEPT 4…. It was a queen sized bed, in a room with barely any walking room around the bed. Literally 2 people would have been squished, so we had to upgrade (since we had 2 children with us). Online it said that there were TWO restaurants on site (one was closed and they didn’t mention that).. online it also said they had childcare (they didnt) We were told free parking - it was 30 euro. No one spoke English. So frustrating....

"The room was super spacious..the pillows were huge for hugging!! Except for thd sysined carpet , it was fabulous...the location ideal, right in the middle of the pedestrian street Walk to mny restaurants along the canal.like..to the Thermal spa Maria at reception was very hospital & helpful! "Good location for being in the middle of the main street. Breakfast was nice. Hotel was clean and smelled fresh when walking into my room. It is East Europe and the rooms are antiquated in that power outlets are not many. Only stayed for one night so I didn’t get to see the spa but from the looks of the area and brochures on treatments, would seem to be nice. "

Lovely stay, 10/10.

"Lovely stay. Was slightly confused with the parking but turned out I was able to park in the large public carpark opposite (I hope anyway). Very comfortable room with TV and fridge. Receptionist spoke very good english which was nice. Comfy bed. Good shower. Couldn’t fault it honestly, was great value too and in walking distance to the town. "
