We had a lovely stay at The Bothy - even though we had a coupe of very rainy days.
We had a lovely stay at The Bothy - even though we had a coupe of very rainy days. A particular highlight was the meals at the adjoining The Inn at Muckhart. The food and service were excellent and the staff super friendly. It was the first time we had had a meal out since Covid-19 restrictions were eased and it felt extremely safe. The Bothy is well placed for day trips to Stirling and exploring the area. The Japanese Garden at Cowden is a few minutes drive from The Bothy and well worth a visit. Clean and comfortable, great location with plenty of walks, castles, lochs etc nearby.
Clean and comfortable, great location with plenty of walks, castles, lochs etc nearby. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of clean towels in the bathroom for a family of 5. Nice coffee shop nearby but for anything more than tea and coffee you need to drive to Dollar 3 miles away. Loads of parking and a pub next door that does great food at a reasonable price - so we didn't use the kitchen much. Telly is Freeview only which was fine for us and WiFi is iffy which we loved because no need to separate the kids from their electronic toys, others may think differently.... Overall great, will definitely be back if we get the chance

Nice little place next to the pub, with everything you need.
Nice little place next to the pub, with everything you need. Small kitchen but dining space in lounge. Only one bathroom but great shower. Pub will bring over food and excellent pub grub. Very friendly helpful owners. Sadly we had to leave early due to family illness ( not us, but relative) Good place
