"Our stay at Cortijo Rey Fini was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have had in ten years of holidaying in the Alpujarras.. The location is superb, with expansive views along the valley towards Trevelez. Such a tranquil place, lots of space to wander around in, with a wonderful variety of trees. While there we breakfasted on freshly picked figs and nisperro every day. The natural spring water pool is deliciously cool and clean, overlooked by picturesque arbors with recliners and a hammock!...

"This cave home was located within a 15 min walk to the city center. The accommodations were very clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Our hostess met us at the gate & answered all our questions. "

"We felt that the property needs to be upgraded. Lighting, Wi-fi, kitchen and bedding all in need of renewal. Also, welcome instructions could have been clearer about need to stock up before arrival and the track to the property"

"This location is excellent for visiting Alhambra. Paid parking outside of the hotel was very nice and convenient. The hotel had an event going on, so the lobby was very busy and loud upon arrival. I expected the hotel rooms to be a bit nicer, but can overlook that given the great location for visiting the local attraction."

Good Value for Money

"It's a proper hotel with good sized rooms and bathroom. Shower is powerful and hot. Room facilities are basic but clean, fresh and tidy with heating / aircon. There is a proper restaurant (we didn't try) and a bar / dining area which is fine for coffee, breakfast and even evening meal."

"It’s right next to the highway, and incredibly noisy during 00:00 to 04:00 for some reason. Bedsheets are like paper sand and for a double bed there was only one long pillow, what’s was that about? Breakfast is super limited, so keep in mind. Just avoid unless you really need a place to crash for the night. "
