Charming cottage in a farm with views

La ferme d'Amélie is situated in the heart of a charming, harmonious village, opposite its 18th-century church, and will welcome you for the duration of your stay. Confined to the rear of the building and adjoining the owners' main house, it reveals itself as a confidential hideaway.

The side passage leads to a flowerbed and a bluestone terrace with a barbecue. The lawn precedes the pastures overlooking the forests of conifers and hundred-year-old oaks.

You'll feel on holiday straight away once you've crossed the threshold of La Ferme d'Amélie. The special care taken by the owners in furnishing the house has created a warm and cosy atmosphere, guaranteeing you an unforgettable stay.

The cottage-style kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences: fridge/freezer/gas/oven/microwave/Nespresso machine. The living room plunges you into an ethnic universe with its decoration brought back from the 4 corners of the world, it is oriented around two rooms in duplex: on the one hand the living room & its open fire (flat screen TV )and an office space - free Wi-Fi - tourist documentation)

First floor:
The colonial suite features a king-size four-poster bed (1m80 x 2m) and a reading area with sofa.

The romantic bedroom is equipped with a double bed (1m60 x 2m) and a single bed (90 x 1M80), from which you can admire through the small window a breathtaking view of the pastures and forests and is located just next to the marine-inspired shower room/wc.

You will be welcomed with a bottle of wine!

Sehr gemütliches Haus mit eingezäuntem Garten, auf jeden Fall für Leute mit Hunden zu empfehlen! Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt und verfügt über ein Tor als Eingang, ideal für die Hunde zum Spielen, ohne den Stress, weglaufen zu müssen. Schöne Spaziergänge in der Nähe.

Adorable cottage with beautiful garden in quiet village
This was a lovely place to stay. The cottage is over 200 years old, and so cozy and quaint while still having everything you need. We loved the wood burning fireplace and beautiful garden. The only consideration I'd mention is that if you are staying with very small children, the two staircases are very steep and somewhat slippery. Our kids are 4,5, and 7 and we were still nervous about them and the stairs.

Goed ontvangst, de eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt nederlands. Huis mooi en schoon en gezellig ingericht. De tuin is groot met 2 zitgedeeltes en gezelschap van een paard en koeien die nieuwschierig komen kijken.slaapkamers mooi en goede matrassen en de bedden waren opgemaakt. Mooie omgeving met steden als Dinant en Namen en Luxemburg. Leuke vakantie met onze 3 dochters en hond.

In overleg met de verhuurder, die goed Nederlands spreekt, konden we 2 uur eerder inchecken. Dat was heel aangenaam anders moesten we in het donker arriveren. Het is een mooi ruim huis met grote badkamer, woonkeuken en afgesloten (flinke) tuin wat lekker is voor een eventuele hond. Wij waren er met 2 personen. Met 4 is het wellicht een beetje onhandig voor wat betreft het toilet; deze bevindt zich in de badkamer naast 1 vd 2 slaapkamers. De andere slaapkamer bevindt zich in een ander deel van het huis waarvoor ook een andere (beetje steile) trap opgegaan moet worden. Helaas is er slechte 4G én slechte wifi. Dat vonden we wel een serieuze minpunt. Voor de rest vonden we het een fantastisch huis.

Mooie en rustige omgeving. De vakantiewoning was heel proper, alle voorzieningen aanwezig. De tuin is volledig omheind, wat zeker en vast een pluspunt is als je met honden reist. Enige minpuntjes: - wifi werkt niet goed - 's avonds buiten zitten op het terras: de buitenverlichting blijft niet continue branden waardoor je vaak in het donker zit De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijke mensen: mevr. spreekt vlot Frans en Engels, meneer spreekt ook Nederlands. Men geeft ook tips waar je in de omgeving terecht kan voor leuke activiteiten + er is documentatie aanwezig in het huisje. Bedden waren opgemaakt bij aankomst, alsook welkomstdrankje in de koelkast en aanwezigheid van keukenlinnen. Wij hebben een heel aangename en rustgevende vakantie gehad. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wij zouden het leuk vinden dat alles afgerekend wordt bij booking en niet ter plaatse. Nog een rest bedrag (honden en bad linnen). Verder was het huis en omgeving prima voor een week.

Het ontvangst was leuk en zeer vriendelijk. Het huis is zeer proper en super gezellig. Grote slaapkamers met zeer goede bedden. Trappen zijn iets steiler als normaal maar stoorde ons niet. De keuken heeft alle toestellen die normaal moeten aanwezig zijn. Tijdens onze veertien dagen hebben wij hier heel hard genoten en komen hier zeker nog terug. Omgeving is zeer mooi met leuke dorpjes. Zeker een aanrader.

Het huis zelf oogt zeer zuiders, heeft een grote tuin met BBQ, lounge(zit niet erg comfortabel) maar het zicht op de weilanden is aangenaam. Het huis zelf was echter zeer onlogisch ingericht , ondanks dat de ruimten groot genoeg waren ontbrak beneden een gastentoilet. De enige badkamer en toilet was via een steile trap te bereiken. Via deze trap kon ook 1 slaapkamer bereikt worden. De andere slaapkamer lag echter volledig aan de andere kant en was te bereiken via een nog steilere trap die vervolgens nog gevolgd werd door 2 treden neerwaarts wat zeer gevaarlijk is vooral als je 's nachts door héél het huis moet lopen om naar het toilet te gaan. Logischer zou zijn om de badkamer naar het midden te verplaatsen (waar nu slaapkamer1 zich bevindt) en dan 2 deuren te voorzien naar iedere kant, de muren zijn toch niet dragend. Het keukengerei was beperkt. Verder is het bed op de grote slaapkamer en ook de terrasstoelen heel hard. Je voelt je niet uitgeslapen 's morgens. WIFI, 4G en mobiel telefoonverkeer zeer slecht, meestal enkel noodnummers bereikbaar. De eigenaar spreekt zeer behoorlijk Nederlands wat we top vonden. De accommodatie ligt zeer landelijk wat wel leuk was maar niet altijd zo positief als we dachten. Tot 23 uur waren de boeren aan het hooien wat behoorlijk lawaaierig is. Beperkt vliegverkeer. Er slechts 1 horecagelegenheid op wandelafstand en deze was enkel open op aanvraag. Andere zaken zijn met de wagen te bereiken, hebben soms beperkte kaart maar wel voor elk wat wils. AD proxi Delhaize op 4 km met uitgebreid assortiment. Zeer mooie omgeving om mooie wandelingen in de buurt te maken. Aangenaam verblijf en mits aanpassingen zeker de moeite waard om een verblijf te boeken.

Het huis was heel proper, de tuin is zeer gezellig met een mooi uitzicht achteraan. De douche zou beter kunnen en iets donkere gordijnen in de slaapkamers. De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk en alles is aanwezig. Wij zouden nog teruggaan!

Heel charmant huisje met zeer verzorgd tuintje. Is achterste deel van een oude hoeve, je komt er via een zij ingang met poortje binnen. Alles is netjes, verzorgd en met liefde ingericht. Zeer praktische keuken, grote badkamer, echter kleine douche cabine. Geen apart toilet. De tweede en derde slaapkamer lopen in elkaar over, geen echte privacy dus. Zalige tuin, goed afgeschermd voor als je je hondje mee hebt. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Top locatie.

Een gezellige cottage in een typisch klein dorpje tussen de velden en de boerderijen...perfect om te onthaasten. Heel netjes en proper en met smaak ingericht. Deze vakantiewoning is perfect voor een gezin van 4 à 5 personen. En ook viervoeters zijn hier welkom met een prachtige omheinde tuin.

Dit huisje is een absolute aanrader. Het is ontzettend charmant, ruim en op en top Ardens. Je vindt er een ruime omheinde tuin die ideaal is voor je viervoeter(s). De slaapkamers zijn ruim en heel mooi aangekleed. In de living is er een heerlijke houtkachel die je gezellige warmte geeft in het najaar. De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk en geeft je een warm onthaal. Kortom, een absolute topper. Enig gebrek dat wel mag vermeld worden is dat de WIFI geen sterk signaal geeft. Er is echter wel een UTP kabel aanwezig.
