The only house on 1.8 Km beach. How special is that?

"Such an amazing location to stay with spectacular 180 degree views from the house and close enough to lots of great places to visit- this is our 2nd time staying at Primrose Sands and we would love to return again & again"

"The property was pet friendy, great for our 2 small dogs. The view was lovely and the water just accross the road. The beds were very comfortable too. However, the house was quite tired and unkept. The garden unloved. There was rubbish left out back, lots of ugly weeds, pegs on the ground and rubbish in a dust pan. There was bits of rubbish under the furniture inside, under beds and sofas. Some cooking utensils were not cleaned properly. Towels were provided but no hand towels or face...

"Inside the, house and linen were clean, beds comfortable. The only air conditioner is downstairs and it needs a new remote, on arrival the upstairs was very warm even for Tasmania. After leaving windows open it became cooler however on hot days upstairs would be very hot without air-conditioning. Outside courtyard and garden really needs a clean up. Very unwelcoming. If you have children the garden is a hazard until it is cleaned up. I also cleaned the range hood filter and itself as it was...

"Beautiful house, great location, very quiet "

"My family of 7 adults and 2 children had a very comfortable stay at this house. The owner was prompt and very helpful at any time we asked for information or advice. The house is set up to be everything you need to be warm and relaxed in a cold Hobart day."

Chiefs kitchen with quality appliances and coffee machine.

"We really enjoyed the stay. There were things to do for all ages. Very accommodating for all ages. With the number of people we had stay, it didn’t feel like we crammed in together. The house was very spacious. "

"Fantastic views of the Derwent River and bridge from both the lounge and kitchen. The property itself was old and tired and in need of updating. No instructions on how to work oven, microwave etc. It had been cleaned prifessionally but not very well, a dust, hoover and wipe down of surfaces. There were cobwebs up and down. We also had problems gaining entry to the property (even though the rental was fully paud for) due to a very stubborn letting agent."

"The house was perfect for our 3 night stay in Hobart. A few minutes to the city in a quiet street. The house was very clean and tidy with good facilities. It has a great view of Mt Wellington! A small suggestion: we needed to buy a dish cloth and scrubber as the dishwasher is only small and there were 7 of us to wash up for."

"We really enjoyed our week as did our miniature schnauzer. The home presented exactly as described - spotless and with ample crockery, cutlery, pantry items and dog accessories. The view was amazing with dolphins present. The beach was minutes walk away and dog friendly. The property being not fully fenced was a minor issue. Property manager Deb was a great communicator. We will definitely be back"
