But if you are looking for a rustic farmhouse reminiscent of your grandparents or great grandparents and within walking distance of Main St, this place will work. Keep in mind it is a 1930’s house with a lot of the original “charm”. We loved it and plan to stay again."

"From check in to check out everything was seamless. The house and grounds were beautiful, there is even a kiwi tree! My family loved the gym (especially the exercise swing) and the kitchen had everything we needed. So much care and attention to detail by the owner. We will definitely be back!"

"Amazing views and the place is as decribed. We enjoyed the location and views very much. Cozy tiny home with beautiful town and privacy, great for bringing a dog. Loved the amount of technology and what was provided. For future bookers, just know that the bathroom situation is definitely rough, which they did warn us of. "We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this one was the best one ever! Debbie is an amazing host and her place was amazing, too! Our stay started the day after Christmas, and we were greeted with not one but two fully decorated lit Christmas trees! "We went to Elkin, NC to go on a winery tour and this was the perfect place to stay. Very roomy, clean and super cute!!! Tracy was a great host and very communicative!!! We were also given a free wine tasting within walking distance which was a very nice perk. Walt at the winery was great as well!!!
