Your holiday home is newly furnished and has a fireplace and WiFi. Dobbertin is an idyllic, small village with many listed half-timbered and brick houses and a monastery. Surrounded by forests, many lakes and streams as well as moor and heath, it is in the middle of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide nature park. Also pay a visit to the Dobbertin monastery, because the listed area is a popular meeting place for day trippers and art lovers. It was founded long ago in 1220 by the Benedictines. From May to September, there are guided tours of the monastery complex on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3 p.m. Adjacent to the monastery is a park with some dendrological treasures, through which an educational trail leads. In the KlosterCafé with a view of the lake you can treat yourself to coffee, cake, ice cream or a small snack. In the workshops, visitors can get an idea of the work of the residents.
