Bear-y acceptable
I recently stayed at a VRBO home in North Vancouver and wanted to share my experience. While the location of the property was great, I was disappointed with the lack of kitchen and bathroom amenities provided during my stay.
Let's start with the kitchen. As someone who’s husband enjoys cooking while on vacation, I had high expectations for a well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, the kitchen in this VRBO home fell short. There were only basic utensils and cookware available, making it difficult to prepare meals properly.The limited number of plates bowls, mixing dishes, baking sheets made it inconvenient for our group to handle mealtime efficiently. While the home can sleep 8 comfortably, there would not be enough dishes to support.
On a more positive note, the location of the home was excellent. We enjoyed exploring the area and taking advantage of the outdoor activities available. Additionally, the home itself was clean and well-maintained, but the back yard, deck, and patio furniture were in poor condition. The latches on the garbage were broken which allowed the neighborhood bear to feast on the contents from the past tenants.
As a result, I cannot give this VRBO home a higher rating. I hope the owners will take this feedback into consideration and improve the amenities provided in the future, as it would greatly enhance the comfort and convenience for guests.
