"Hello I just stayed over the past weekend. April 25th-27th. Balcony with a Lake View. It was very nice. The room was spacious and clean. The shower did appear to have some mold damage. Plan to stay again, the room with the oversize shower next time."

"The property was clean and comfortably spacious. Plenty of seating for family game night and meals. We were pleased to find a number of lovely local restaurants, and everything we wanted to do was within a 35 min drive. Perfect for a short family trip.Light sleepers might have trouble with the sound of trains, and the beds were a touch on the firm side for my back, but entirely within standard variation. The neighborhood was quiet and comfortable.Only tough thing was that the lawn crew showed up on Saturday morning during our checkout, and we had to move our vehicle and work around the noise and bustle. Anyone wanting to sleep in late on Saturday morning would also have had this to contend with."

"I have no complaints regarding the booking process, communication, check-in, and cleanliness of the home. My family was very satisfied with our stay, and ensuring their comfort is my top priority. While the stairs provided a bit of a workout, I suppose a little exercise is beneficial, even on vacation! "

"Staying there was above what we expected! My husband and our son stayed there because were in the area to drop our son off at Ft Gregg Adams for Ait. The base is almost a straight line from the property which made it very convenient On the outside of the property it’s very unassuming, but the inside was filled with antiques, original wood beams and the property is full with history. Decorated to the era. Being in the historical district of Petersburg was very fitting. Nightly we heard passing cars that had very loud bumping music but aside from that the neighborhood was cute and friendly. Now the host Kim, what a sweetheart of a man. He responds quickly to your needs and he went above and beyond anyone or anywhere we have ever stayed. He shared a guide book he has been putting together which was very helpful and we did many things on it and his recommendations for restaurants were spot on. If you are ever in the area of Petersburg, doing the historical suggestions on his list is a must. So much civil war history in the area. Do not pass up this amazing place. We definitely will be back. Thank you Kim for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us. "
