Nice hotel
A friendly group of people who gave us a warm welcome. We liked our room and were quite comfortable . We decided to have dinner in the hotels restaurant , but regretted that. The food was not so good. Breakfast was fine - just the usual breakfast items. A very small buffet area, but plenty of tables.

Fantastic stay and hotel ownership
Hotel owner waited for us and was so wonderful. She explained the parking situation in the downtown area (metered parking off patrol from 7pm to 9 am) and recommended a restaurant as theirs is closed Mon-Wed. Room was a bit warm (no AC), but we opened the window and they had provided a fan which made it very comfortable.

Great stay - more pictoresque than Rothenburg
Great location right in the heart of historic downtown Dinkelsbühl, everything only a brief walk away. Very friendly and accommodating staff. It should be noted though that there is no elevator to the upper floors (as it is the case woth a lot of historic buildings) and that you can only park you car for one hour during th ed day around the Old Town district using a parking dial (Parkscheibe), before you have to move it to the next parking spot - otherwise it is free. To park your car overnight the hotel provides a permit to put in your windshield allowing you to (street) park your car from 4:00pm through 10:00am the next morning within the medieval city walls.

Lovely hotel near centre of town.
Lovely hotel near centre of town with excellent friendly staff. Room was a good size and was spotlessly clean. Nice bottle of spark inking water in your room too. Good price for a lovely hotel, and restaurant in hotel is also very good. If I returned to this beautiful town I would stay in this hotel again.

Nice, clean and easy to find with very good complimentary breakfast. A lady even helped us to bring our heavy luggages upstairs. Only downside is no AC, but probably majority of the hotels in the area are like that.

Perfect location.
We were lucky to get a parking spot in front of the hotel. Otherwise it would be a huge problem. Staff were very friendly. The bottle of sparkling water in the room was quite refreshing. Continental breakfast was superb. My only problem as I have a bad back was climbing all those stairs to the third floor. So make a request for a lower floor when booking.

Updated and immaculate hotel located right in the center of the beautiful German town of Dinkelsbuehl w/ a nice restaurant on the premises. Spacious bedroom and bath, confortable bed, lots of storage, great shower, efficient wifi, modern TV offering many international channels. Excellent continental breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. No private parking, but easy street parking across the hotel. No A/C, a feature rarely needed in that area of Germany, but there is a fan in the room.

Very enjoyable stay
The hotel is in the centre of a very beautiful small town full of medieval character. The hotel has clearly been recently been refurbished and our room was spacious and, stylish and comfortable. The booking included breakfast, which offered good choice and quality. The owner and all staff were most pleasant and helpful. Their English was much better than our German! I would strongly recommend.

Best town on the Romantische Strasse
A lovely hotel right across from the famous church. Staff was very friendly, room was just right, and the buffet breakfast was wonderful. Such a pretty breakfast room with a nice table setting. Best coffee I had in a long time.

Quaint hotel in historic Dinklesbuhl
Goldene Kanne was a very enjoyable, quaint hotel right in the middle of historic Dinkelsbuhl. We had no problem finding a parking spot close by on the street, but would point out that there was no reserved parking for the hotel. the staff was friendly enough, but wasn't readily available to recommend any nearby restaurants so we set off on our own. The location was perfect; we walked most of the old, inner city in one late afternoon. Our room was very clean and well maintained. The mattresses were pretty firm, but the noise was limited to church bells so overall quite happy with the quality of sleep we were able to get. We never ate in the restaurant on-site so cannot make a recommendation on that. Overall, would recommend to family and friends, and would stay again myself.
