"The mornings were absolutely beautiful to see from the large front windows. Wild & domestic life (rabbits, so many birds, alpacas, horses, a pony, & a positively awesome dog) were very welcome, & all served to make the experience perfect. The host-provided a book of annotated walking trail printouts which fueled our days. Evenings were cozy in the upstairs with the provided furniture, blankets, & pillows. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, the welcome was very nice & the afforded privacy was top-notch. Can't wait to come back =)"

"I have stayed at The Mariner's on many occasions, particularly over the past few months. Safe to say that it is my first choice when looking to stay in Haverfordwest. Comfortable, friends and a really nice breakfast and at a very, very reasonable price. Love staying here."

"We were greeted by the most friendly gentleman, who checked us in, offered to take our bags and showed us to our room. He asked if we would like a table for dinner and invited us to join in with the quiz. The food was delicious, the waiting staff knowledgeable, chatty and even the other customers were friendly too. "

"Stayed here a few times in different rooms. This one was different again. Set up in a type of annex little cottage external at the side of the hotel. Didn’t know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Lovey warm and spacious double room and on suite. Like a little one bed cottage. Road noise wasn’t too bad seeming the lane was close to the main road. Warm and secure all amenities there. Nice little hotel and always happy here. Breakfast had changed to between 0730-0830. Very short time frame. So didn’t partake in the breakfast included. Which is usually very very good. "

"A beautiful house owned and run by beautiful people. Whats not like about this beautiful home. I stayed here over night on my regular work trip. First of many I hope. Tony and Chris are such a lovely, friendly couple. The house is a labour of love as Tony said, and anyone staying here should feel humbled and privileged for Tony and Chris to welcome you into their home. The pictures do not do the house justice although gives you a very good idea of what to expect. Seeing the house in person and feeling the history, warmth and love they have and are putting into it leaves you feeling in ore and I’m also quite jealous of what they have achieved. The bed, bedding, decor, tea & coffee making facilities all were better than some high end hotels I have stayed in over the years. One word to sum up my stay… Perfect"

"Beautiful quaint little property. A welcome change from the general pace of life. We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful cottage, Christina who owns the property was the perfect host. There was plenty of room for our dog to run around in the outside and even though it was November it was clear that the gardens were amazing. We hope to go back again soon when the weather is better.Thank you Christina for making us so welcome we really appreciate it."
