Hiking, rafting, fishing, relaxing, etc... It is all right here at Laurel Bush Riverfront Cabins!!! We are the Trout capitol of NC!!!

We offer the perfect vacation getaway to take pleasure in all 4-season activities and experiences that North Carolina boasts. Laurel Bush provides a unique experience for guests to connect with and enjoy the pristine, natural elements of the Great Smoky Mountains and the peaceful Tuckasegee River.

Whether you want to relax or play and escape into nature, Laurel Bush is the spirit of what every vacation should be. The onsite large covered pavilion is conveniently located close to the cabins for picnics, socializing or relaxation. You can enjoy sitting on the deck listening and watching the river go by or sit at the fire pit on a cool evening while looking across the river at the original train wreckage from the movie starring Harrison Ford, “The Fugitive!"

Within a 50 mile radius there are many miles of hiking/biking trails (including the Appalachain Trail), whitewater rafting/canoeing/kayaking/tubing, waterfalls, swimming, fishing, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Great Smoky Mountain Railway, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Hotel, Gatlinburg, TN, The Biltmore Estate, Cataloochee Ski area and much, much more. Western North Carolina has activities for everyone! Every season is a beautiful time here in the mountains.

1. Place all household garbage in the cans provided only. All other items must be discarded by the tenant. No large items are to be placed by, in or around the trash can area.
2. Parents/guardians are responsible for children’s actions and their safety. Children must be properly supervised. Parents/guardians are responsible for any injuries that may occur.
3. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 9am.
4. The use of alcohol should be confined to site and used responsibly.

Honeymoon???
We are both nearing 80 and have been married about a year and a half. Our first chance for a honeymoon! Loved the river and the chance to just RELAX! Loved Sylvia and Dillsboro and the quaint, interesting shops. We plan to return!

Annivesary getaway
Just the right size for two people and it's right on the river. Easy to find and it's right on the river. Castaway was nice and clean. We used the firepit and cooked breakfast each morning. Did I mention that it's right on the river? Would definitely stay here again!

Mountain River Getaway Cabin
This is a nice cabin situated on the Tuskasegee River. There are numerous outdoor activities nearby. We were able to see the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad train across the river. Our time to enjoy the property was limited due to a short stay and busy schedule.

We enjoyed the quiet, serene setting on the river watching the tubes, rafts and geese float by! Excellent location on the river and close to the restaurants in Dillsboro and Sylva. Also, a short drive to the Great Smoky Mt. Nat’l Park for hiking and other river and park activities. The cabin was very clean, well maintained and pleasantly decorated. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this cozy cabin!

Relax listening to the river
This cabin is updated and clean, very serviceable. The kitchen area is small and basic, but just what we needed at the time. It was a good location for all our plans during our stay. The best part was being right on the river. Listening to the water was so relaxing, we will definitely be back.

Peaceful stay on the river!
Cozy little cabin with a gorgeous view of the river. Everything was exactly like stated and owners were very easy to deal with. Would recommend this cabin and would return again. The deck was our favorite place to sit and relax and enjoy the view and sounds of the Tuck!
