"I have been seeing A Frames since they first appeared in the 1960s and always wanted to stay in one. I love the endless number of odd angles the style presents, as you walk through the near exclusively wood interior with angled ceilings and quirky rooms.Great place to spend the winter if you're an avid skier. We spent a month here in Jan-Feb 2025. I managed to ski 6 mountains, 24 days, 360 miles of skiing. It's 10 minutes to the Mountain House base at Keystone, 25 minutes to the gondola lot at Breckenridge, 30 minutes to Copper Mountain, an hour to Ski Cooper (less crowded on the weekends), and an hour to Beaver Creek and Vale. For a change of pace, you can get to Sunshine Mountain in 90 minutes and do a morning of skiing with the locals and an afternoon of soaking in the hot springs and spa for 100. Yes, you can spend 40k for a slopeside condo at Beaver Creek for a month, but if you don't have that kind of money, or don't want to blow that much on a winter vacation, this place is great. Hot tub in the back is a perpetual 105 degrees, and is wonderful after a day of skiing. "
