This apartment has it all, starting with the amazing view of the rooftops and cathedral out of the large casement windows in the living room and bedroom. It has nice high ceilings and hardwood floors. The beds are comfortable, not only the queen bed in the main bedroom, but also the 2 singles in the other one. The kitchen is well laid out with a great stove/oven combo, a good cold fridge, compact microwave and a Nespresso coffee maker. With a Monoprix grocery and wine store a three minute walk away, and the thrice weekly market at Les Halles (10 minutes max), stocking the kitchen is a breeze. The hot water in the shower is really hot, and it never went cold on us, even though the hot water tank looks small. Be ready to climb 3 flights of stairs to this apartment, but the reward at the top - being the view - makes it all worth it. The neighbourhood is a delight, from the excellent restaurant, Le Piano Qui Fume (make reservations) across the street to the free electric City bus that picks you up right in front. There are so many of Dijon’s cultural delights within easy walking distance, making the location ideal. Finally, the property manager, Tim, is readily available to help with any issues, speaks excellent English and is a charm to deal with. Thank you Tom Armstrong; should we return to Dijon, we will happily stay in your Apartment Bonnard again.
