Coffee, paper towels, toiletries were not provided but we were able to get everything at Coop short walk away. Great location. "Denka and her husband are friendly people. The kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. They keep the apartment very clean. There are two qualities we look for in vacation properties, cleanliness and comfort. They pass with high marks on cleanliness but are an absolute failure on comfort. The beds are horrible, a 4" slab of foam on a bunky board. There are no comfortable seats except for the outdoor chairs on the deck. "The apartment really is fantastic and a great base for exploring Interlaken and beyond. The accommodation is stylish, spacious, extremely comfortable and clean. The portable AC fans worked well and, although the road is quite busy, it was very quiet at night. The balcony with mountain views was fab. Bus stops right outside the apartment for the railway stations as well as neighbouring towns were a plus. The hosts were extremely helpful and supportive with ideas and advice on what to do/where to...

"6 of us spent 2 wonderful days hiking in and around Gimmelwald, including the cable car to the Schlithorn. The town was much more quaint than Murren and had amazing views from our deck. We stopped at the store in Lauterbrautten to get groceries and created our own breakfasts and packed lunches."

"Racer’s retreat was an excellent property. Very clean, with updated bathrooms and all the kitchen supplies you need (including multiple fondue pots). Check in and out was easy. The property is a bit of a walk from town. However, we enjoyed it every morning and evening, as it provides seclusion and the scenery is beautiful. We would definitely stay at the property again. "
