"Everything was wonderful with two small exceptions. There were no oven mitts or salt, pepper, spices etc. to help facilitate our personal cooking. With large family we don’t have the option to go out to eat regularly. There is an Aldi’s less than a mile away, which is great. Also there was not much for rags and kitchen towels etc, for cleaning. "

"We loved the location which had easy access to a trail, we had deer visiting every morning in the front yard, and lots of room for all of us to spread out! The smallest room is the kitchen but we weren’t there to cook. The house had easy access to downtown DC and most importantly the zoo! The towels and linens were clean and aupee soft! We would definitely stay there again! Owner response to any problem was quick and polite! "

"My husband, mother and I had a great stay at the Cottage on King. It’s tiny but we loved it. It’s beautifully decorated and you can’t get much better in terms of location. There were plenty of towels and other amenities to make for a comfortable stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable- not amazing but slept fairly well. You can hear the traffic but it didn’t bother us. "

"We used this beautiful home for a history trip of DC landmarks and regional Civil War Battlefields. The location was great. The drive into DC averaged about an hour and 45 minutes in the mornings due to traffic, but all the other Civil War destinations were much less and the house is large and very well maintained. The family loved sitting in the hot tub each night after a long day of walking and had the extra pleasure of a herd of deer that greeted us each night next along side the driveway...

"In town for my Sister’s wedding. Stayed here for the weekend. Danny, the host, was easy to communicate with. Place was charming and very comfortable. Beds were comfy as advertised. Downtown Frederick is easily walkable, and hwy 70 was easy to get to to branch out further. Will stay here again if available the next time we are in town."

"Rented the house as a basecamp for the weekend for my team and I as we were filming a short film, needed rooms for a couple people. Steve's place was true to the photos- lovely home in a convenient locale in a safe area, plenty of street parking, fast wifi, bath towels for guest use, several rooms. Steve was laid back and super helpful with answering my many questions. My group had a great weekend and enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend if you're in the area, would stay again! "

"Loved the location and property was pretty, modern, clean and easy parking. Gym was great, but pool was not clean so could not use. Full Kitchen was great to have and mostly stocked. My cons are not many. For the money it would have been nice to have a kitchen towel and more than one kitchen trash bag. Last was poor communication when I wanted to extend my stay, tried through call, text and email and was able to get any response."
