"Momo (manager) and his staff were always helpful and made our holiday unforgettable. Despite booking very late, he organized our transfer from Malé to Hoarafushi. Momo is an experienced and patient dive instructor and knows unique diving locations. Even as a beginner in diving, I could enjoy many amazing dives. The beach is very close and lovely. Many new palm trees and plants are planted so that the beach will get even better in the future. "

"I had an amazing experience at JA Manafaru. The people here take care of you from the moment you arrive at the airport, to the moment you get on the plane to leave. The staff felt more like family and friends than staff, taking care of every want and need. The food was amazing and the scenery was beautiful. This is an experience I would never forget! "We stayed in hideaway from 22/4/24 till 26/4/24.It’s a little disappointing when you go to a high rating place like this and have the following issues arise: 1.) after all of what happened below, we went to speak to the manager, and he told us to come at 6:30 am before we left to meet with the other manager. "Hondafushi is an amazing island. Very quite and privet, not a lots of people. A lot of places around the island where is no people and it’s just you and the ocean. Be aware the transfer fee will go up after the booking from $120 to $420 for a person. Plus on the day of check out- they will change you extra after 12 pm for the room. "Hondafushi is an amazing island. Very quite and privet, not a lots of people. A lot of places around the island where is no people and it’s just you and the ocean. Be aware the transfer fee will go up after the booking from $120 to $420 for a person. Plus on the day of check out- they will change you extra after 12 pm for the room. For people who likes to be in quite vacation- it’s a great place to be. There only one restaurant - but for the reason the buffet is better than some other hotels. We order there special lobster $150 for 2 people they made special set up of tent next to the ocean definitely was amazing experience! Over all great island! A bit hotter than others Maldives island, but more privet and relaxing. Thank you ! "

"We stayed in hideaway from 22/4/24 till 26/4/24.It’s a little disappointing when you go to a high rating place like this and have the following issues arise: 1.) after all of what happened below, we went to speak to the manager, and he told us to come at 6:30 am before we left to meet with the other manager. However there was no manager on the island at 6:30am 2.) we paid for half board and ended up paying around $7.5 for tap water every time we had a meal when you assume that it’s included for dinner. 3.) left our belongings at the sea activities desk and was told it would be taken care of, after we were done, we came back to find our belongings were taken by other guests. Whilst waiting, they only offered 1 small bottle of water to me and my wife. 4.) rented a jet ski that had mechanical issues. 5.) we wanted an umbrella sun bed, and the worker told us that 4/5 were broken. He then Fixed one with adding a pin that looked as if it was deliberately taken out, and waited as if he was waiting for a tip. 6.) the servers at one of the bars would completely ignore us unless we raised our voices to be heard. 7.) went on a dolphin boat ride and were there were 6 of us. The worker only offered 4 bottles of water. 8.) last day we ordered a low fat latte, and the worker said that they have never had low fat milk after we have been ordering it for 4 days straight. 9.) we were told to get up at 6 am to leave the island at 7 am when our half board package includes breakfast from 7am "

There is plenty of hot water, the guesthouse has a lush garden and is quiet (you can hear the prayers from a nearby mosque five times a day, but they never woke me). Nolhivaranfaru, the small island on which Nolhi Escape is located, isn't the place for someone seeking a resort experience -- there are few tourists, no large resorts, water huts, slides, adventure parks, etc. -- but it is a safe, serene, hospitable place that is virtually untouched by development other than the small homes of the residents, who mostly live by fishing and farming. Nature surrounds you on the island. Nolhi Escape is just steps (about 2 minutes) from the island's beautiful uncrowded white sand beach with its warm turquoise waters. The staff of Nolhi Escape -- Sobah and Ali -- will do all they can to ensure that your stay is perfect. Ali is an amazing chef, who will cook to your preference. The meals he prepares are plentiful, delicious and healthy. The guesthouse provided me with a bicycle, and it was a delight to bike around the small island meeting the residents, who were all welcoming. There are a few small stores where you can stop for a canned mocha latte or other drink and a snack and a few small cafes. I left Nolhi Escape refreshed and knowing I would return. "
