The property was just perfect for our needs . The beds were comfortable with inviting bedding. The house is clean and well equipped . The location is ideal . We will definitely book again .
We enjoyed our stay in this cute house in a convenient location. Perfect for two couples. There was one issue, but communication was very good and the issue was handled appropriately. Would stay again.
Cute house! This is off a main road, short drive to the shops and restaurants. Near the highway, easy to get to. Very comfortable space for my little family of 3.
Good base to go do things. Clean and quiet. As is usually the case, one bedroom is better than the other. Not much room to spread out in the second bedroom. A luggage rack and nightstand would be nice. Overall, nice place.
Beautiful and comfortable home with great kitchen. We were able to visit with our family members comfortably while the kids enjoyed the snow in the backyard. We will definitely keep this place in mind when visiting again.
We stayed at this property for Parents & Family weekend at University of Michigan. The commute to campus was about 15 min. The house has really cute details and was well appointed. Downtown Dexter was less than a 5 min drive. We appreciated the cleanliness and artistry of the space. The house is on a small highway so there was a bit of road noise in the front bedroom. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!
This was a nice place in Dexter to stay for our daughter’s wedding at Cornman Farms. There was plenty of room for 6 with the fold out couch and large kitchen to hang out when taking a rest from the busy weekend. We did not cook but the kitchen had nice appliances and was well stocked. I would recommend this house!
A chatming little house with everything I needed! Great layout, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Interesting art and decorative pieces. A real pleasure!
I was visiting my son, who’s a student at UM, and helping him with a local move. This adorable house in Dexter was perfect for the week— gave me a place to stay and he could join me between leases. The house has so many thoughtful and tasteful updates and the yard is just lovely.
This was a great place to stay for the 2022 WaterMoo Gravel Bike Race. Close to the start / finish at Jolly Pumpkin. About a mile to downtown Dexter and 12 Miles to Chelsea for crepes and shopping.
The house was perfect! It had everything you could need. There were games, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer & dryer, super comfortable beds, and it is nicely decorated! It also has a huge lawn where we played games. It was exactly what we wanted and needed for the week. We would totally book this house again! Really great location because it’s close to Ann Arbor and Chelsea!! Loved it…and the hosts were very communicative.
This home was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Attention to detail was evident in every room with games and decor. Anna was very responsive to questions. The neighborhood was quiet. We stayed for 19 days and would love to come back. It's 1 mile from the town square and a beautiful park system nearby with paved trails for walking or bicycling along the Huron River where canoeing, kayaking, and floating is very accessible. Thanks!
The location and size of this property was great for our needs BUT we had quite a few "problems" and annoyances during our 2 day stay. The furnace was not working when we arrived. Although the property owners were very friendly and came to check on it and bring us a space heater the furnace was not fixed until about 18 hours after check-in. The space heater caused a breaker to trip when operated at the same time as the microwave. We felt that we should have been offered a partial refund for the hassle of no furnace and dealing with repair people in our rental. We really felt this issue could have been avoided if the property owners had turned the heat up remotely so the house would be at a comfortable temperature at check-in. If this had been done, they would have realized there was a problem with the furnace and initiated getting it fixed prior to our arrival.
The house was dusted, vacuumed, swept, etc but there were a lot of dirty areas that I found gross (and I am NOT a neat freak.) There was an old dishrag from a previous tenant behind the kitchen faucet, dishes in the dishwasher that we had to unload, dead bugs on the windowsills, spiders & spider webs in the shower, and layers of dust and gunk on the bathroom fan, heat registers, and cold air returns. Many of the pots and pans in the cupboard had to be washed before using them and the jets of the bathtub looked so dirty that I did not feel comfortable taking a bath.
We spent a lot of time researching property in Dexter close to our niece. We are in our 70's and wanted a location where we could walk We contacted the owners several times to discuss various topics about the property. We were coming from Texas and going to Michigan. We were 2 hours from our destination when we contacted the owners to get the code for check in and were told the property was double booked. We had the confirmation numbers and an email from the owner. We had no place to stay. The response was "tough for you". We will give you a refund of 100% which we finally received after a week and multiple emails requesting the total amount. Fortunately, Residence Inn was available in this area or we would have been "out in the cold". No customer service, book at your own risk but remember if you cancel at the last minute they will keep your money.. They could have notified us weeks earlier that they were double booked and given us our money back or they could have agreed to pay for a place for us to stay. Fortunately for vrbo I am writing this review a week later. The shock, anger and frustration have worn off
