The serene panoramic views will deliver attractive sunrises and sunsets to put your mind at ease. Sugar sand beachfront comes with additional bonfire area just steps from the shore, lily pad, private dock allowing 2 boat slips. There are 9+ restaurants/bars, mile long city beach/park, recreation rental and shopping you can access via boat. Big Detroit Lake offers excellent fishing and is great for watersport activities, swimming/lounging at the sandbar, and snowmobiling Our home is located only 4 miles from Detroit Mountain for all seasons outdoor curricular needs! The cabin was cute & cozy! The hot tub was absolutely perfect! It was actually hot and very clean unlike a lot of other places I've encountered. It was the perfect cabin for our girls weekend!

Our family had an amazing time. The jacuzzi was an amazing touch and the view from the patio was beautiful. Only issue we had was we wish we had booked it for longer.

A nice little getaway on the lake
This was a unique and quaint place for our family to stay. We enjoyed the large patio to sit and chat. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pontoon boat. The owner was great at communicating. We appreciated the coffee. We’ll be back. Thanks!

We meet some friends for a long weekend in DL. We enjoyed all the house amenities and the beautiful view from the patio. This home was close enough to downtown and restaurants.

Great Christmas Getaway!
Our family stayed here for the Christmas holidays and the visit was wonderful. Everything from the accommodations, the beautiful view and the location was perfect. We didn't get to use the game room as much as we wanted but it was great. We look forward to coming again during the summer and this is the place we would want to stay. As a bonus the hostess was so helpful and easy get to get a hold of. This will always be a Christmas to remember!

Impeccably Clean
Clean, fireplace was warm and inviting. Third downstairs bedroom was very small and bed was a mattress on a board. Very uncomfortable. One of us slept on the couch. Otherwise we enjoyed it very much.

Stay was awesome other than the weather
Leaf blower for the patio would be a good thing to have on hand so all the debris that fall from the tree would be easier and quicker to clean up. Pontoon is awesome I would recommend a depth finder to help the driver be sure if the motors is where it. Needs to be.

Great spot on the lake
For our honeymoon, we chose to stay in Detroit Lakes, and as soon as I saw this listing, I knew it was perfect for us. The location in Detroit Lakes is unbeatable, close to everything we needed. The house was ideal: it had more bedrooms (4) than we needed, plenty of bathrooms (4) for each of us, a fully equipped kitchen, an incredibly comfortable giant couch, and a fantastic patio. We spent a lot of time on the patio, which featured a hot tub, two fire pits (one wood, one propane), and plenty of chairs. Evenings were spent watching the lake, and we were delighted to see a family of geese with seven goslings by the water. We also enjoyed taking the pontoon out for a day, which was a wonderful amenity. When I had questions about local recommendations, Melissa responded promptly with great suggestions. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a weekend getaway.

Beautiful Winter Retreat
We absolutely loved the fireplace and the hot tub, they were great for enjoying the cold and snow. The place is decorated perfectly for the holidays. Highly recommend getting a steak dinner at Fireside.

Girls weekend- troll hunting
We very enjoyed our stay, five adult womens, house was a great fit for us. Weather didn't cooperate for us to utilize the fantastic outdoor space unfortunately. Location, layout, size were great, property manager was very responsive and engaging. We would love to come back and stay with warm weather in the future.

We had a wonderful time staying at this excellent property. The patio hot tub, outdoor fireplace and house all have great views of the lake. The lakeshore siting area and fire pit are right next to the water. The Pontoon boat was a great extra to tour the lake. Everything worked well and the house was very clean and well decorated.

Lake getaway
We had an amazing time at the lake house. Easy access to town or hang at the house. Both are wonderful. The game room is fabulous when it’s rainy, and this place has everything. Would love to come back next yeah!

Back in town.
We were in town to visit family on our way to a wedding in SD. We decided we wanted to be on the lake and we were not disappointed. The pontoon included was a FABULOUS amenity and ultimately made the decision to stay there. We had 2 beautiful days of weather with hardly any mosquitoes! View is great.

Husband’s 40th Birthday
My husband, myself and 2 friends came to surprise him for his birthday that lived nearby. This place is awesome and clean and has so many awesome points of interest. The game room was killer, the view was top notch and the host made for a great experience. Would definitely rent again! Summertime would be incredible.
