Reserved and paid for the property over a month early. Two days before our check-in, had not received any notification from host. Tried contacting host, no response. Contacted VRBO who also could not contact property owner, but would not provide another property until after check-in. After check-in time, no help from VRBO, only a refund. Its Saturday night and everything was booked or very high priced rooms and hotels. Basically left stranded in Detroit with friends from out of town. Owner can go to he!!. It was not VRBO's fault, but they were not much better. The first 3 reps told me not to worry, but they obviously didn't know their own policies. Surprised to see this unit is still listed on their site two days later! Very poor customer empathy and support.
