"Wow!! Winnies B&B became my home away from home. The place is so neat, tidy, clean and so comfortable. The owner was just so hospitable, warm and kind- pretty much a mom. "I was visiting a friend volunteering for the Peace Corps just down the road so my location was critical. Was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the White Sands resort. "We loved our stay here. We loved the simple Tongan style accommodation. There are only 3 fales set in beautiful tropical gardens where guests are allowed to pick their own pawpaw and coconuts. It is private, secure and quiet, set beside the best snorkelling beach in Tonga with the use of kayaks. My highlight was the lovely gentleman who works security at night when reception goes home. He was so relaxed, friendly and helpful and was available to see that I got safely to my room when returning late at night from a family funeral. Malo aupito. "
