Some excursions we enjoyed include the Bangor Mall, a hike at Hirundo Wildlife Refuge (bring bug spray!), a show at the planetarium at UMaine, and lobster at Pepper’s Landing. "The cabins were clean and cozy. Convenient to store and restaurants. Price was reasonable. I will say, the showers are a bit strange with the controls outside the shower itself, also no barrier to keep water in the shower. But the heat lamps in the bathroom were wonderful after returning from a COLD ride!! Would definitely stay again."

"We were very happy with our stay. Our daughter and son in law live in Lincoln and we traveled from Pennsylvania to visit. This location was perfect for us. We loved the house, and it was so relaxing to sit in the chairs in the master bedroom and look at the lake. We hope to stay there again."

"We stay in a lot of VRBO homes and this was a great experience. Many little and appreciated touches that a lot of owners do not think of. Plenty of room for the whole fam. My college aged kids loved the space to spread out and really enjoyed getting out on the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. "We loved the location of this property. We have our own kayaks and we loved how easy it was to get them in and out of the water. We also enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch where there is a nice breeze coming off of the other lake across the street. The kitchen is recently renovated and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. I have also never seen a place so well stocked with firewood. Property managers are ver friendly and helpful. 10/10."
