"The hotel is rather modest but run by supremely dedicated staff. There are frequent power cuts but this is the norm in parts of Africa and the hotel staff were always quick to start their generator to alleviate the nuisance. Their breakfast is hugely overpriced at 8500 CFA which is a lot even by Congo-Brazzaville's standards. The area is safe to walk around even after dark as is the rest of central Brazzaville and reaching the centre on foot takes about 10 minutes. All in all, a good experience."

"When a typical Brazzaville rainstorm occurred, my room flooded and had to be mopped out. The breakfast buffet was absolutely awful. The chafing dishes containing 'hot' items had no warming and the food was ice cold - eggs, everything. Dinners were good on quantity, average to poor on quality. Closets had only 4-5 old bent wire hangers - no pants or suit hangers. On checkout the network wasn't working to process credit cards!"

"Listing stated room with 2 beds, but upon arrival they only had rooms with 1 bed. We had to pay extra for another room since the listing wasn’t even close to being accurate. Water and electricity didn’t always work, they ran the generator to compensate but it was quite loud. Wasn’t marked right on google maps, we had to call to find out the actual location. "
