Right across from Drake University
There was no hand soap in the bathroom soap dispenser, so we just used the Dawn soap from the kitchen. Also, the bathroom trash was not emptied from previous guests. Otherwise, it appeared clean and it was in a great location next to Drake University.

Great location to allow us to walk to the Drake Stadium for High School State Track for why we were in Des Moines.

Overall the room was great. No parking is included so test your luck with street parking. 2/3 times that I’ve stayed here I’ve tried to contact host about an issue with no response. The first time the TV remote was missing this time a few of the lights were out. In all it’s a great room for the price and perfect for someone visiting friends/family.
