This unit is perfectly located in the bustling area of West Des Moines. Convenient access to Jordan Creek Town Center, Iowa's largest mall, offering tons of shopping, dining, entertainment and more. You're less than a mile away! Getting around the city will be just as easy as you're approximately 5 minutes from the I-35, I-235 and I-80. The unit is updated with newer flooring, paint and more! Comfortable, traditional amenities and furniture will make you feel like you're at home!

The unit is in a prime location! Minutes from the Jordan Creek, which is Iowa's largest retail, shopping and entertainment headquarters. Many national retailers and specialty shops are located here. Catch a movie at the Century 20 movie theater, explore nightlife in West Glen or dinner at the Jordan Creek pond. If you're wanting to get out of West Des Moines, the interstate is close by to get you anywhere in the metro quickly!

You will have full access to the unit, the fitness center and the swimming pool. You will need a key fob to get into the fitness center and pool.

The unit is spacious but also offers all the accommodations of home. As you enter the front door, you'll find a coat closet and an entry table. The dining room has seating for 4 with additional seating for 2 at the eat-in kitchen.

The kitchen has all the appliances you would need (toaster, Keurig, microwave, etc) as well as bakeware, kitchen gadgets, etc. Just off the kitchen is the full-size washer/dryer with drying rack, iron, etc.

The living room is cozy with a gas fireplace, couch, side chair and a slider to the patio. The TV's are ready to go for streaming or there are included channels as well! Wifi is available throughout the unit and you'll also find a pack n' play and high chair.

Off the main living area is a full-size bathroom, bedroom with a closet and nightstand. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, smart TV and dresser. The master has its own bathroom with a stand-up shower and walk-in closet. Both bedrooms have mini-blinds as well as room darkening curtains.

While I love all pets, there are restricted breeds (Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Akita, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman Pinscher & Mastiff). The unit is equipped with a device that monitors the noise decibel level, temperature and smoking.

Quick getaway
We really enjoyed this place. However the main bathroom toilet took 3-4 times of flushing to get the spoils down and the main bathroom sink drain plug was stuck so we couldn’t use that sink. Otherwise it was good. Could use a deep cleaning of the vents and showers though.

This was the worst stay of my life. We checked in at about 8pm and the place was dirty. The other people had just left and the laundry was still in the laundry room floor. Trash was still in the garbage. Dirty towels was still on the holder, tub was dirty. No linen for the beds or towels. I called Vrbo and asked to be moved to somewhere else and they would not move us. They were unable to reach the owner after multiple calls. Then they had the nerve to insult me and off me $40 back to stay at this property. After spending over an hour on the phone with Vrbo, the assistant called back and apologized for the inconvenience and the mistake with the booking issue and stated we would get a refund and brought us sheet and towels. My husband and I took a couple of hours and cleaned the apartment up so we could sleep some, because mind you check out is at 11am and now it is way after 10pm. Then to add injury to insult the own send me a message stating that I will owe him for his keys/fobs and he states he is applying this amount to the credit due for his cleaning team and I will still have a balance due. First, there was not a key fob and the one key that opened the front door stated to not take it, because other people have to use the key, which is in a keyless entry box. And the door the apartment is keyless as well, so what did I need a key or a key fob for?! This guy is a scammer and he should not be allowed to rent to anyone off of any site. I’m sure have to take him to court.

Poor communication
Check in time was 3pm. We arrived 3:30. We had not gotten an email with check in instructions. We could not get in the unit. I made two calls, both voicemail. Texted the host, no response. Sent a message via Vrbo app, no response. Called vrbo customer service. The person was also not able to contact the host. Finally, at 4:49, we received the check in email, with no explanation to the delay. Unit was good. We had rented from this host before without incident. We were very disappointed that the host was not reachable, when they had a client to deal with.
