"The entire experience was excellent.... it was my first time in Ireland and I love being immersed in the old world charm, accommodating staff, excellent food in pub, convenience to everything in town and the well designed and comfortable rooms that had all of the comforts of home.....the lobby and surrounding areas were always filled with guests to either talk with or listen to music their !!. "Dromoland Castle was absolutely magical! The garden and grounds were stunning and the castle was indescribable. But the staff was my favourite part. They make you feel like family while there and we’ll be talking about our stay until the next time we get to go. Make sure to do the activities ….the archery, clay shooting and horse carriage specifically. And splurge on a specialty cocktail in the lounge at night, it’s worth every penny. The food was delicious, the room was perfect, exploring the castle was neat. I just can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Do not hesitate to book it. I will be travelling back to Ireland from Canada specifically to stay here again. "
