Town: The village of Schull is located in the South West of County Cork, between Ballydehob and Goleen. It offers a number of shops, Irish pubs, and fine restaurants. There is a harbour which is home to a number of boat operators offering fishing trips, wildlife excursions and sightseeing voyages, as well as a sailing club and ferries to nearby islands. There are fine beaches to be enjoyed, such as Barleycove with its golden sands and turquoise waters, and the visitor centre and cliff walks of the Mizen Head, at the very tip of the peninsula are well worth a visit.
