"No proper air conditioning, poor lighting in hallways, the bathroom and toilet were in a terrible condition. Shower cabin had no door and water splashed everywhere and covered the bathroom floor with water. Curtains and blinds were missing and the light was on the entire night and there wasn’t much privacy due to missing curtains. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was very cold in the early morning. The twin beds were not the standard twin mattress and it seemed like it was for small children. We stayed there for three days and no one came for housekeeping. The shampoo and soap weren’t provided enough for 2 people. The staff barely knew english."

"Stayed one night only with my teen daughter as a stop over from Ankara to Istanbul. We were very happy to find food available at 8PM. They only have grill options but very tasty. The room is very small and lack some standard facilities (e.g. no place to hang shirts) but I think they have larger rooms, you may need to opt for them. This is family run hotel and all are really helpful and caring. The title says Abant style because I noticed the most places to stay around have similar conditions. "

"I booked this hotel on Expedia where it is presented as an upscale hotel with a sauna and a free manager's reception. Upon arrival, I was informed that the sauna was under renovation, and there were not such thing as a free manager's reception. The hotel manager told me that they weren't responsible for what Expedia puts on the website. I appreciated the manager offering me a bit of a discount to appease me but overall this was frustrating, as I was looking forward to a sauna and a spa. Overall, although the hotel is clean and conveniently located, it does not live up to the "upscale" standard."

"Excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a great location far away from crowded city life. Highly recomended for people who enjoy peace and quietness. Excellent dining options. Hope to visit again soon."
