Guest Access:
Our guests will have access to the entire home, the driveway (Fits two cars), and the backyard. There is a kitchenette in the basement but it is not part of the rental. The door will be locked to this space. Please pick up after your furry friends and keep the space clean for our guests! An extra cleaning fee may be associated with your reservation if this does not happen!

Hit up South Colorado Boulevard (just minutes away) to indulge in the local foodie scene and shopping. The area is well-known for its delicious, authentic Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern cuisine. You won’t go hungry in this neighborhood! If you’re looking to stroll, check out Eisenhower Park or Highline Canal Trails for great views as you soak up the beautiful Colorado weather.

Looking to recharge in the mountains? Hop onto I-70 to experience breathtaking hikes and views within an hour. One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive a little over an hour through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also within a couple of hours of Winter Park, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain.

Getting Around:
The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Downtown Denver is North of where you will be staying. HWY 285 and I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while you can hop on I-25 to access Boulder and Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. I-25 to HWY 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park.

Both University Hills and all of Denver are highly walkable areas. In addition to nearby S Colorado Blvd, Cherry Creek, and LoDo/Downtown Denver are great locations to stroll. A car is recommended if you will be exploring the mountains. For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to reach further destinations in and around Denver. Get exploring!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The area felt very safe and it was great to be near university of Denver. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Location was perfect for us since it was walking distance to our daughter's apartment. Close to shopping, restaurants, the interstate, and University of Denver. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Very cozy. All three bedrooms are a good size as is the eat-in kitchen. All new appliances in the kitchen. All bedrooms have a double bed. Note that it only has one bathroom. Fine for us but might not be a for three couples. It's a quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Fantastic host. Communication was great. We hope to stay there again the next time we visit our daughter.

DU Graduation trip
We stayed at this property with my in-laws (86 and 88 years old) to attend our daughter’s graduation from DU. The location and the neighborhood were awesome! Very close to DU and our daughter’s apartment. I felt very safe jogging the neighborhood and walking the dog— yes, I loved that it was dog friendly. I did miss in the description that the use of the driveway and the back yard were off limits to guests. We were able, though, to drop off my father in law in the driveway so he could have close access to the front door with his walker. The kitchen and living area were comfortable, with everything we needed — except the tv didn’t get local channels so we weren’t able to watch the Nuggets in the NBA finals. We did do some extra cleaning. There were women’s false fingernails under a cushion in a chair in the living room and crackers and trash under the couch. (I looked for a vacuum cleaner and couldn’t find one that I could use— there was an unopened hand vac in the closet in the living room.) In summary, it was good, comfortable enough. I’d book it again.
