Cozy Colorado Rocky Mountain Cabin

Come and relax in this cozy (and pet friendly!) mountain getaway. This cabin is a quiet sanctuary, nestled in the woods of the Rocky Mountains, and only 30 minutes away from Boulder/Golden/Denver and Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Large patio deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air and trees. Deck is enclosed, so your pet is welcome! The neighborhood is a quiet, serene, and clean mountain area with an abundance of Evergreen and Aspen trees. Lots of wildlife - bears, mountain lions, moose, deer, foxes, and more.

There is a lot to do in the area - hiking, fishing, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing and more! 20 minutes to Golden Gate Canyon State Park, which is 12,000+ acres and boasts 42 miles of hiking trails.

Convenience store is only 5 minutes away for last minute necessities. Everything you need is right here! Once you settle in, you won’t want to leave.

Car is needed. 4x4 in the winter after it snows. Roads are paved and snow plowed regularly in the winter. Property has a medium off-street parking lot which can fit 3-4 cars.

You have the entire place to yourself! I am not present on the property, but live in Boulder which is about 30 minutes away.

Just what we needed

Very clean and cozy home. Ian is a great host, keeping in touch constantly to make sure we were doing okay. Location was perfect for us, and felt very private and rustic. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Awesome cabin!!

What a great cabin, small and cozy, warm when it was 9 outside, we went skiing in Eldora, gambling in black Hawk and a bunch of other activities in the area. Afterwards we looked forward going to the cabin to relax and get ready for the next day. Very comfortable and clean

Cute Little Cabin

This cabin is so cute! Everything was very clean and well stocked. The property is absolutely gorgeous with big pines, aspens, and wildflowers! All the details of the stay were very clearly communicated by the host. We had an amazing time. I would love to stay here again!

The perfect getaway

The cabin is perfectly located near Golden but not close enough to be bothered by anyone. Activities are within a 25 minute drive. The cabin offered everything you need to make a trip perfect. We will definitely be back during the summer to experience Golden then.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our anniversary trip and it was more than perfect! Such a cozy cabin with everything we needed. The cabin location was honestly the perfect distance away to get the mountain feel and to spend a day in near by cities to explore. Ian let us know he was available whenever we needed anything or had a question. Highly recommend this place for your next trip

We had a nice time at the cozy cabin. The place was clean and warm. Bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the fire or grill but nice to have the option. Easy to communicate with the owner, as he kept in touch. Would definitely stay again for a weekend trip.

Excellent Mountain Retreat

We really enjoyed out time at Ian’s cabin. He was a wonderful host and the pictures truly do not show how great the interior and exterior spaces are. We had a bit of a hiccup with the well but Ian was more than accommodating and ensured that our time there was relaxing and refreshing. Thank you!

Perfect cozy romantic getaway!

This cabin is adorable, perfect getaway for a cozy romantic weekend!! It is nicely decorated and very well taken care of. The only thing I would change is to have a bigger bed, but I understand it wouldn’t fit. Everything is well thought out and Ian is amazing at communicating with you along the way. I love this cabin!!!

Great place to get away!

This cozy little cabin is perfect for a quick getaway. Easy to get to and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Really love the deck and easy to use fire pit. Took us a bit to figure out the keypad and finally used the keys(have to remove the round metal plate under the keypad to find they keyhole :) Other than that, we had everything we needed for a nice stay. We would definitely come back!

Ian's Cabin

Every aspect of this cabin: the cabin itself, the location, and the host couldn't have been more perfect! You are 10 minutes into the mountains and 20 minutes away from Golden, Boulder, and El Dorado Springs. The host was very friendly and responsive to all of our messages and chats, the House made our trip that much more enjoyable :) We cant wait to go back again! :)

The Perfect Peaceful Escape

This cabin was so clean and comfortable. I was seeking a peaceful, relaxing escape and the cabin did not disappoint. The amenities were great and I loved the thoughtful note, snacks and coffee that was provided. Its the little thoughtful things that mean the most. Ian provided all the details needed for my stay and he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location is very close to great hiking trails and other sites. I will be rebooking for next year!

LOVED IT

Ian and his team thought of everything. Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice card and note, everything was thought of and provided. It was amazing. We even got married on the property in a self-solemnization ceremony (legal in Colorado). We could not have wished for a better place.

Great Place, Great Communication

Spent two nights at Ian‘s place with my friend and our dogs. We were plenty warm enough even with the subzero temperatures outside. The house was clean and very easy to find. Couple of hiccups with the Wi-Fi and the drain in the kitchen sink, but they had nothing to do with the owner of the property. Ian is a super responsive and friendly host.

A hidden Golden gem

This cabin was the ideal place for us to stay and get away from things for a few days. It truly is a hidden gem. It is a cute little cabin that was stocked well by the owner, and like the other reviews said, the pictures really didn’t do it justice. It was the perfect blend of rural mountain relaxation with the convenience of being able to quickly hop into the car and go anywhere in CO with ease. If you’re considering this property, jump on it while you have the chance. My partner and I found ourselves continuously commenting on how perfect it was for our stay, you will not be disappointed at all.
