Many things went wrong. Expedia was the worst. I tired to change the date of a non refundable reservation. Expedia informed me that they would change the reservation, but the hotel manager had to approve the change. Expedia sent an email to the manager. I talked to the manager who said they did not receive anything from Expedia.
I asked the manager if I did not check in the first night would I still have a reservation for the second night? She informed me that I would. I arrived the second night and was told I did not have a reservation. The clerk informed me that they only charged Expedia for one night since I didn't show up to check in and canceled the second night. He said he wasn't sure if Expedia would reimburse me for any of the nights. If I wanted to stay I would have to pay him since he only charged Expedia for one night. I'm not sure why the hotel canceled the second night of the reservation? I was told by the manager I would still be able to use the second night.
After looking at the facility I was fine not staying at this hotel.
