Superbly located, basement guest-suite in a classic 1920's bungalow with rare features: high ceilings (7ft), walk-in closets, full-size kitchen, fireplace, dishwasher, washer & dryer, and fastest WiFi Denver has to offer.

Private patio oasis with gas grill and 6 foot fences to relax in the Colorado sunshine. Landscaping and Snow Removal Services will be provided during your stay. Your private entrance, one parking spot, and taxi/delivery drop-off are through the alley behind the house. Easily accessible by car (parking spot provided), train (Louisiana/Pearl stop), and bus (#12 Downing).

We allow up to two well-behaved dogs with completion of the pet fee.

The entrance opens to an updated, well appointed kitchen with seating for 8 and coffee, tea, and staples.

Living room has a large flat screen TV.

Bedroom 1 has a comfy king size bed with a desk, gas fireplace and large walk-in closet.

Magical Getaway

Great Wash Park Stay
Very nice property located right across from Wash Park. Nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable for my family of four. Kids loved walking to the park everyday. Great location close to other Denver neighborhoods, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend!

Very nicely renovated space with 2 bedrooms. Very clean and comfortable with modern appliances etc. We were very comfortable over the Christmas week while visiting with my kids and granddaughter and extremely conveniently located.

This property is a hidden gem. Located right across the street from Wash Park, in an amazingly remodeled basement with 2 sizeable rooms, a spacious bathroom, a full kitchen, and comfortable sitting area. The location is really centrally located to Denver so getting places is really convenient. If you are looking for a quiet, hidden gem with a Central location that is clean, comfortable and safe … this is an awesome choice.

location was perfect; house was clean and well furnished with a nice patio to use. The owner was very responsive and accessible to contact. Downside: lower floor rental and the upstairs tenants were very noisy the entire time which negatively impacted our stay.

Great property in Wash Park
The house is adorable, just like the pictures show. It is right across the street from a beautiful park and only a 10-15 minute drive from anything in downtown Denver. The property is managed by a property management company, and they sent many emails (to an annoying and unnecessary degree) weeks before our stay. However, once we got to the property and needed their help, they were great. The house is well stocked with what you need. Overall, we had a really nice time staying at this property.

This unit was advertised as a bungalow but it was rather a basement. The inside was very warm, we couldn’t adjust temp. only by opening the windows. I think overpriced for the standard. Thank you

Clean, well located VRBO, with a few quirks.
This VRBO is in a perfect place for enjoying Denver. It is right across the street from Wash Park, and close to most everything. The off street parking makes parking easy. The property looks Loke it was recently renovated and was spotless. The check-in process was easy, but it’s managed by a property management company, so you have to jump through their processes in addition to VRBO’s, which is a bit tedious. The heat is not controlled in the unit and can only be adjusted by 4 degrees by emailing the property manager. Otherwise you just open and close windows. Neither quirk outweighs the location, set up, or nature of the house.

Fall trip to Denver
Lots of pros: Quiet, pretty place less than a block from the beautiful Washington Park. Really loved the location. Check in was easy. The apartment is furnished nicely, updated appliances, and had everything we needed (even guest robes). The primary bedroom even has a working cozy fireplace. Nice outdoor seating area. Owner addressed the few things that came up during our stay. A few cons: This is a basement unit and the internet wasn't great. You can't adjust the temperature in the unit, so we had to go through the owner a couple of times to get the heat turned down. The emergency phone line was not answered so got responses by texting.

Wash Park Stay
The facilities were spectacular and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely to have the coffee and snack stash upon our arrival, and the bathroom amenities along with the laundry amenities were an added bonus! The unit was clean and exactly as advertised, a great central location to explore Denver and the surrounding area. Our only issue was we were approved for a late checkout, however our code to unlock the door expired at the standard check out time. We were checking out on Easter, and I think this made getting ahold of the appropriate people a little challenging. Our issue was eventually resolved and overall our stay was very enjoyable.

The property was entered through an alley and then through a courtyard that was at best uninviting. The basement living quarters were cold and the tv, even after numerous texts, never did work. The bed in the second bedroom was awful. All in all a C minus.

Inaccurate amenities listed & no way to set the unit's temperature
The property was listed with a hot tub. This property does NOT have a hot tub. This was a huge issue for us because that was our only search criteria. The owner has since updated the amenities, but that doesn't change the fact that our trip was impacted. We had several other issues as well. The door code was not keyed properly. It took us 1.5 hours trying to get in touch with the owner and chatting with VRBO before we were able to get into the property. The owner said they "changed the management company" recently but keying the door code properly seems like a basic task. The unit is in the basement of a house and the unit does not have its own central heating. This means you cannot adjust the temperature at all. The check-in documents that we got the day before we arrived said "... to adjust the temperature to your liking, please use fireplace, space heaters, extra blankets, windows, portable fans..." in Denver's rapidly changing climate this is not an ideal way to try to manage the temperature inside the unit. The space is cute, but with all the issues we had I would not recommend staying here. Choose somewhere else.

7 night stay during medical stay
We were in town for my adult daughter to have testing done at a Denver hospital. The description is good, except some of the furniture has been changed out and replaced with more basic pieces. It was still very clean and the beds were great. Water pressure isn't very strong in the shower, but is otherwise very pretty with plenty of counterspace. My daughter has to make all her own food, which is why we chose this listing - the kitchen looks great! Toward the end of our stay the fridge/freezer went out and we had to throw out about $40 worth of food. The dishwasher had to be run twice to get the dishes clean, but the company that manages this property brought a cooler with ice for us, looked at the dishwasher and agreed someone needed to come out to repair it, and apologized for our trouble. I am sure it is all fixed by now! Owners are very responsive when I had to message or text them about something. I did have something important mailed to me (regular mail) and it never showed up. The housecleaner got there as we left and said they hadn't received any mail for a week at the listing. Weird. We did receive a UPS package that had been sent to us. Fantastic location! You have your own parking spot and there is something written on the door when you get there that I thought was absolutely charming! I will let you see it for yourself when you stay here! Overall, a great, comfortable and homey visit. Would stay here again in the future! (I just won't have anything mailed to me
