"Debbie & Alan are wonderful hosts making you feel like you are part of the family. The accommodation is clean comfortable & sits in a beautiful location. We sat on the dock over the river watching the sun go down. Debbie’s breakfast are the best we had in the US& as you share the table with other guests breakfast is both entertaining and enlightening. Advice on what to see locally was good. We would recommend Marvels on the Creek without any hesitation. "

"We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2...

"This was a comfortable home, and a nice location. We were staying mostly for business, so didn’t do much in town, but the main restaurant and shopping areas are two short blocks away. We did use the nearby nature trail to walk our dogs. The only concerns others might have with the house, and the reason for four stars instead of five, were: minimal kitchen equipment (few pots/pans etc.), steep narrow stairs to the second floor, and low water pressure in the shower. "Rather than staying at a noisy hotel, we opted to go with the VRBO while at a lax tourney at the DE turf. The house is located in a quiet area. We ventured into surrounding towns for local restaurants and shopping. (It does take 12-15 min to get anywhere). The accommodations were comfortable and my daughter and I had our own sleeping areas. "
