"Thank you Bree for letting us stay on the cozy log cabin. We travelled there during spring break (2 adults, 3 kids ages 10-5) for 5 days and 4 nights and during the stay the whole family enjoyed the stay.The place was cleaned and we had all the supplies needed there, we did not have to get any other supplies but food. "Twice a year my wife and I escape to a location so that we can unwind and unplug, this year we tried a new place and it fulfilled all of our wishes. The Owls Nest is an oasis's among the trees , peaceful and tranquil simply perfect."

"Very nice cabin, could accommodate family with kids. Close to beach, but view obstructed by row of smaller cabins directly in front. Close to Salish Market in Bowser, and also Qualicum Beach. Good amenities, kitchen well appointed for cooking, grilling, baking. Very pleasant stay."

"This cabin is exactly what we were looking for for our relaxing weekend away from the city before the busy school year started. The cabin was immaculate and comfortable and we had amazing views of whales and the Northern lights. it was perfect for some low key family time."

Owner was a bit slow responding & we didn’t get details until about an hour before check in which was a little unnerving. "Hosts were welcoming and clear with their communication regarding check in and other amenities. Dwellings were well made and suited our needs. The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail."

"My wife and I rented this tiny house with another couple to use as a base for a few ski days at Mt Washington. It was about 15 minutes from the Mt Wash parkway turnoff - quite easy to get to, and there is a nearby grocery store. Overall a lovely stay! Beautiful property with great sauna access, well heated (in winter), and functional full kitchen. Note to bring basic cooking ingredients (cooking oil, spices, etc) as well as soap and shampoo, as these were not provided. Also the host will text...

"It was a sweet tiny property. We loved the outdoor shower. The place was small but worked very well. I think the perfect weather helped. I think that we expected less than what we got so we’re very pleased. It was indoor/outdoor living at its best. "

"My husband and I decided to spend a week on Denman in hopes of catching the herring spawning (excellent wildlife opportunities). Our host was very easy to communicate with and she made us feel at home on her farm. Her place is very clean and charming. The wood stove was cozy. The access to beaches and town was easy. All in all, a great week."
