This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again"

"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

The cottage is in a nice quiet location just outside the small town of Holmfirth with plenty to do in the area and some nice pubs/restaurants only a few minutes away. "Just what we needed to visit our daughter at Huddersfield Uni. We were looking for something on the lovely countryside around Holmfirth and this ticked all the boxes. Easy check in, plenty of options on just eat and a beautiful, characterful terrace with enclosed yard, perfect for our dog."
