Great getaway in the woods!
We had a lovely weekend away at the little cabin. The property management was incredibly helpful when our original booking had the bathroom flood prior to our arrival and got us moved to another location-with more space and even a small refund! The cabin has all the necessary amenities, plus dog friendly and a hot tub. Doesn’t get better than that for us!

Ideal in all ways
Had a great stay (for the second time) at this cabin. Had to return after bringing the family up for skiing during spring break a few years back. This time it was a boys trip and the cabin was ideal again. Love the hot tub after a day on the slopes and the kitchen has everything you need. Great layout for a family or friends trip.

Cozy and Comfortable
The cabin was easy to find, well equipped and convenient to a variety of hiking trails. Beds and bed linens were great. Really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. 4 adult women who hiked, cooked meals and enjoyed the beauty of the area.

Great and cute cabin close to baker ski area
It was a cute and cozy cabin. They supplied everything we could need and it was amazing that it was so close to the ski area. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was the DVD player and we were excited to see ice age on dvd. Nonetheless, we will be coming back!

Quiet Weekend in the Woods
This cabin is super cute! Definitely perfect if you're looking for a quiet getaway. Well stocked with wood for the fire pit/place and the hot tub was awesome. Only suggestion to the property owners I have is to put up window treatments at least downstairs. A little creepy at night knowing anyone can see in with the large windows and then in the AM the sun was at an awkward angle while we were sitting in the living room.

Great getaway in the time of COVID
Getting out of the city for a few days and into the wilderness was a welcome respite from the quarantine. The Mt. Baker area overall is very sparsely populated and is definitely not a big summer destination - much to everyone's loss and our gain. The area had very little in the way of tourists and the trails were very empty. Even major viewpoints like Heather Meadows had plenty of parking and plenty of space. The Mt. Baker Rim complex is a small community and was fine for our needs. Due to COVID, none of the clubhouse amenities are open for guests - but I was told if you are a renter, you wouldn't have gotten access to them anyways so plan accordingly as many of the sites tout these as amenities. The cabin was clean and well furnished. Even though there are many notes about wi-fi being sparse, we had no trouble and they had a roku with all the various streaming options. The kitchen had alot of the major pots and pans although if you like to cook alot I would recommend bringing your own tools and gear. It was obvious that there had likely been a recent flood in the bathroom of the toilet. The bathroom definitely smelled musty to the point where we kept the window open and the door closed at all times or else the smell would permeate throughout the house. Also, with COVID rules, the kitchen has ZERO spices, oils, etc. Usually with rentals some of the main staples are there but due to rules there is NOTHING in the kitchen. Please be sure to bring your own as there's only a very small grocery store and not much else to get supplies. It was very quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was great. If you're wanting a getaway without worrying about too many people for social distancing rules, Mt. Baker is the best and we enjoyed this cabin very much!

Great Unit, not great support from management company
We really liked the unit, it was well set up for our family. Very comfortable, nice hot tub, very useable kitchen for prepping meals, though a dishwasher would be nicer than having to do the dishes manually. Only real gripe is with the management company: the furnace died the last night we were there, of course in the midst of a cold snap. When I called at 9pm to report this, they answered the phone right away but told us nobody would come out until the morning and their recommendation was 'build a fire'. Not optimal.
