"This was an awesome, and unique place. Beautiful woodwork, amazing windows and features. But it is 130 years old and things are definitely unique. We loved it. Never quite figured out the shower (n the Miracle room) but that’s alright. The staff was great. Matt, the bartender/waiter, was the highlight. Funny, yet professional. Talented. We would like to return. What an experience. We were there for a show downtown. Next time we will stay for dinner. "

We needed a place fast to deal with a family emergency and the Engels' beautiful little home was everything we could have hoped for. The fenced in back yard is perfect and the host even left dog toys for the fur kids to play with.Definitely will look for this place again the next time we're in Michigan!"
