Great location
It's a quirky old house, but you can tell they are doing work to it. It's very cute, has a great back deck and yard, and is walking distance to downtown Delray Beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location!!
Great property and great private back yard!! Grocery store, liquor store, cigar lounge, and restaurants were all only about a mile away from our location. When we go back i will definitely be in this property again. Owner was great on communication and very pleasant. 5 stars for sure for a nice relaxing low key property

Shady lady house is amazing!!!!
My family and 2 dogs had a blast there everything is all walking distance the beach is literally 5 min away from the house I took soo many pictures lol I definitely recommend the shady lady home.the neighborhood are very friendly as well and quit never noisy or loud music everyone is very respectful thank you again Dan your the man haha have a blessed day xoxo

Our stay at The Shady Lady ( fun name has a story), Was comfortable in every way. The house had lots of character, which made it feel like a home not a hotel. We had plenty of amenities related to a home. The location is a chill neighborhood, within close walking distance to night life ( eateries with entertainment) shopping and about a 30 min easy walk to the beach.

Well worth it
The house is exactly as described. It’s vintage, with the old original structure, but the appliances are updated. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the easy walk to the Main Street. Daniel is a responsive host. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a unique experience.

Affordable stay with character and an excellent location
Daniel was communicative and accommodating. This little house is adorable and it has a ton of character. We had everything we needed to be comfortable for a two week stay. Daniel is quick to respond to questions. Understand that this a downtown property in a downtown neighborhood! Its proximity to Atlantic Avenue, 95 and the beach make it a great place to stay!

We loved everything about this charming historic home; however the location was not what I had expected. The walk to Atlantic Avenue was possible, but a longer walk then we had anticipated.

Shady Lady
We enjoyed our week long stay with no problems. The house is very private with no neighbors on 3 sides. The area is extremely quiet. The backyard again is very private with a large wonderful deck that is very usable and relaxing. AC and tv were very good with some nice furniture main room. We hope to visit again next year.

Pictures are accurate
No rhyme or reason for how it’s decorated but that is what gave it lots of character outside or the normal grey, beige and whites you see everywhere. Had to capture and release a baby lizard once so that was a highlight. Ample off street parking for 2 cars and close to everything. Caught the free shuttle to Atlantic a few times so that was a huge benefit.

Delightful charming little house with private lovely garden!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Off street parking big enough for 2 cars. It was just the 2 of us with one care, but we loved the little quirky furnished artsy super clean house, with great kitchen, back deck and private garden, great walking location to Atlantic Ave in town. Close drive to any stores and the beach. Wanted to stay longer! Great value too, compared to local hotels. They supply almost everything needed, including laundry and kitchen needs. Would love to come back and stay here again! Older home with delightful updates. Front bedroom was super comfortable too.

The photos of this property are NOT what it looks like.Garage sale mixture of mismatched lamps, tables and uncomfortable chairs.The location is great for walking to the Ave.The outside back porch was nice.The price was right.The owner was responsive and let us check in a little early.He was very nice.It needs some TLC for sure.

Great location
This historic property is located a short 3-5 minute walk from Atlantic Avenue with many bars and excellent restaurants. Safe neighborhood, on same street as police department and library. Beautiful shaded backyard with elevated wood deck. Close to all the action, but quiet location close to the beach. Air conditioning is ice cold. Property manager very responsive. Our son and dog stayed here while our home in Delray was undergoing remodeling. Would highly recommend to friends and family. This is a great place to stay if you like comfortable historic homes. If you are looking for modern and glitzy many other places in Delray available. P.S - our dog loved it!!
