What I love most is that this is a wonderful 1.5 mile run to the beach. Along the way there are excellent dining options, art galleries and shopping. The pineapple arts district is nearby. I love that the Old School Square is close by. There's an excellent farmer's market there on Saturday mornings. This is a quiet location and the entire hotel is extremely clean. I like the convenience of parking.

Overall, this is a nice hotel and is close to a nice area in Delray. However, the immediate area is not so nice at all. It has a lot of people living on the street next to a rundown liquor store. The parking is within a gated parking lot that is very well lit. However, the gate opens for anyone walking by so it’s not necessarily safe for your car or belongings. The hotel was going through renovations when I was there and it was well noted at the hotel, but not on Expedia so the workmen started working at 7 AM and I was not allowed to sleep in. It was so loud from the banging. The construction people also turned off the water, so my toilet wouldn’t flush. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was very warm and enjoyable.
