What was once among the most important religious centers of Ancient Greece is now one of the best preserved archaeological sites in all of Greece. The entire island is set aside as an archaeological park and is largely free to explore. Frequent guided tours are also a very good value if you want to dig deeper into the history of this amazing island.

"Gut geeignet für Familie mit 1-2 Kindern , ruhige, strandnahe Lage , nur 6 KM von Tinos -Stadt (Chora). Auch ohne Auto möglich, recht gute Busanbindung ( im Sommer). Der Strand nicht zu voll, sandig, sehr gut geeignet auch für Kinder. Gute Tavernen fussläufig zu erreichen."
