"Overall the rental had brand new amenities and was very quaint. It was about a 30 minute walk up a very steep hill (>15% grade) from the town center. It was about a 35 minute drive to the major town of Iseo. The water taxi to Mont Iseola is very close by and it was a lot of fun exploring the island. The host was prompt and check in/out was easy. "A nice country house above Lake Garda, but without views of the lake. It was comfortable and well cared for and the property and landscape were lovely. The owner/manager, Luca, was very friendly, helpful, and accessible by phone. The access road was narrow and a little hard to negotiate in a mid-sized car, and one had to drive a way into Padenghe to find cafes and stores."
