Kikorangi Retreat is surrounded by a magnificent view of the water and picturesque nature. It's a perfect place for a memorable, relaxed and peaceful New Zealand experience. The singing of the birds in the morning can be your usual alarm. The constantly changing estuary views, established orchards & veggie gardens, & even a beautiful pocket of ancient coastal native bush will be your everyday sight.

Resident custodians living in a neighbouring cottage will make your stay even more special by sharing their local products (eggs, honey, fresh fruits & vegetables) as well as their knowledge of the area, local walks & activities & the eco-friendly environment.

**Special conditions & notes**:

- Strictly no party, gatherings, or venue use. No Smoking. Generally, pets are not permitted, but you are welcome to contact us with details of your pet along with your assurances for the care of the home.

- Hazards for Children - Spa pool, unfenced property & proximity to the sea present hazards for small children. Please enquire with children's ages if children are under 10.

- WiFi speed is variable.

- Private Residence - This is a personal home, made available to guests on an occasional basis. This allows you access to a superb & well-equipped home with the trade-off that storage may be required for owner belongings.

- Please bring your mask - While you are in contact with our owners or staff members when we welcome you or attend a call-out request from you, we will need to ask that you wear a mask. Please ensure that you have one with you.

**Cancellation, COVID travel restrictions, Compassionate Circumstances**:

A beautiful retreat
Our stay at Kikorangi Retreat was exactly that. A beautiful, restful, restorative retreat. The house and the bountiful grounds were lovely and peaceful and comfortable. And Carolyn was so gracious and welcoming, we felt we had come home. The two large bedrooms, plus sunroom and loft office, can accommodate most size groups. The kitchen is well appointed. The hot tub overlooking the bay was wonderful. A big unexpected plus was an excellent music system and a wide ranging music library. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

She and David made a beautiful dream come true with this property, from the stunning landscape and captivating views, to the inviting colour scheme and spacious light-filled rooms, to the impeccably appointed kitchen and soothing hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. We felt like we were a million miles away, so quiet and peaceful. The view of the water and greenery is spectacular, even when it rained, we were happy to relax and just enjoy the scenery. Although we did go to a cafe close by we spent all our time relaxing and enjoying the property, it has such a great energy. . Carolyn is a lovely host, we wished we'd spent more time with her. We're so looking forward to planning another trip. If you're considering a stay here, do it, the moment you walk through the door you'll understand why this home has so many great reviews.

As advertised. Wonderful retreat that feels like you are totally of the grid, but in reality only 20 minutes from Nelson. Interesting history of Cable and Delaware Bay adds to the stay.

Family paradise
